CLUB NEWSDecember 13th:
I finally looked up ‘groups’ in dA’s help section (I’ve been curious about them for awhile, but didn’t think about looking it up). I want to know if you think this club should be converted into a group. If it’s a group, it should be easier to join and submit fanart. Groups is a official dA club system - made specifically for clubs like this. Thing is, after it’s converted into a group, I can’t change it back to a club if it's not as good as it sounds.

Notes about how the group would work:
Everyone would have to rejoin. It would be very simple. Probably how it would happen is, all the members of the club will get a message in their Message Center asking if they want to join the group (I could be wrong though. But, joining would be at a click of a button, and I'm sure I'll figure out a rather simple way of letting people know). When you join, you won’t need to have the club avatar in your journal. There's a group widget that can be added to your dA page that is updated automatically). The member's list will be automatically updated (although I'll need to play around with it to make sure). The thumbs in the Group gallery will automatically link to the original work of art, thus no more people faving copies. The buttons for submitting art and joining will be at the top of the page. And it shouldn't take as long for people to join or get artwork submitted.
Please comment on this journal with a vote for converting to a group, or keeping this as a club. (and please don't say 'yes' without telling what you're saying 'yes' to. ^_^" )

Unofficial Mod/General fix-club-up personTO JOIN 1. You need to be an Ed fan.
2. a. Send a
note saying you want to join and i'll post your icon on the icon members list, and your username in the text members list.
__ b.Since dA v6 sends alerts for
devCOMMENTS, you can now ask to join on the club's front page. You must either say you've read the rules,
or type your username in the comment (exactly as it appears on dA - meaning no spaces, and using the correct capital and lowercase letters. This will show that you've read the rules, and will make it easier to add you to the members' lists.)
3. Finally, post this icon
into your journal.
Just type :icon*edward-elric: (Without * and no space)
Note: It might be a good idea to devwatch the club so you can get the latest Club news (including contest news and member art submissions).
FANART/FANFICTION1. Please don't favorite the art in the club gallery - follow the link to the original and fave there.
2. To submit fanart or fanfiction, please send a NOTE saying you have some fanart/fanfiction. (no devcomments please)
3. There is no limit on how much you can send. I'd appreciate it if you keep it to one to three submissions per note. It tends to be tiring when there's a huge amount of links to go through in a note.
4. Submissions must be your own work. No videos or screenshots from the show or manga (you can reference a screenshot, though). Please don't trace, either. (with work done by you and someone else together, get permission from the other person) Photography is allowed. Basically, as long as it has something to do with FMA, is your own work, and isn't rated R, I'll take it.
5. Give me the link to your fanart/fic
and i'll add it in this fandom journal: Club Fanart Fan art and fiction will now be put in the club gallery and not the journal.
6. I will probably only submit the first picture/chapter of multi-chapter fanfiction or multi-page comics. I'll link to the other pieces in the comment section if you give me the links. (for ongoing comics or fics, I can update the 1st page's comments to include new links - and hopefully an alert will be sent to watchers that there's a new link)
7. If you have any special requests, like a certain way to title a submission, or certain comments to put in the submission comments, tell me exactly what you want done in the note.
(fanart will not be added to the favorites anymore)
